I nearly messed this one up – my First time growing. It was very happy during vegetative stage but didn’t have enough direct sun so I had to move it half way through flowering (it was in a grow bag). It took off after that and produced some beautiful bud. I only yielded a half pound but I know that if I do this one justice it will give me much more. The buds I did harvest were beautiful oozing with resin (I made some wicked finger hash with it) and once cured had a deep rich scent of satsuma orange. This is a classy smoke and with a no nonsense high. (grown outdoors in the Ottawa Valley)

Pure Durban, Landraces

Pure Durban is native to South Africa from the “Valley of 1000 Hills”, which takes its name from the thousands of green hills that accumulate around the Umgeni River. This landrace grows initially on small hills, which are kept wet with water fog of the near waterfalls. ANESIA Seeds has feminized this pure sativa and united all of their original and best characteristics. Because of her for a Sativa landrace relatively short flowering period she is also suitable for regions with shorter summers. Pure Durban can also be grown indoors and delievers best results with a breathtaking aroma. The plant grows to a height of around 150 centimetres and has branches of varying length with a thick growth of bright green leaves. The buds are elongated, and dense with a covering of white THC crystals.

Pure Durban has a very fruity taste and smell, which increases extremely during curing. The Zulu who live in the Durban region, said of her that she gives the warriors strength for the battle. This subtropical Sativa gives you strong euphoric effects, but let your thoughts clearly focusing. Pure Durban will capture your senses, makes everything feel ok and produces an extreme energetic buzz.

Growing Pure Durban

Pure Durban requires 9-10 weeks of flowering time, and can be harvested in mid-October when grown outdoors. This subtropical Sativa developes long, very resinous buds, which have an intense lime green color with orange and purple paint splashes. The harvests is 550-600g per square meter at the indoor grow and over 850g per plant outdoors. Because of her tremendous growth (120-180cm indoor, outdoor up to 3,5m) it is a good idea to use ScrOG-methods (Screen of Green). She also responds well to SOG.

Medical Use

The uplifting effects are a great remedy for high stress levels or when suffering from a lack of appetite. Pure Durban delievers a potent does of THC and other cannabinoides to knock out pain, depression and a loss of appetite.
