Adults 21+ years old in the state of Colorado can purchase up to one ounce or 28 grams of cannabis flower OR 8 grams of cannabis concentrates OR 8 containers of 100 mg cannabis-infused edibles.

How do you legally buy cannabis?

Adults 21+ years of age with a valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license or passport) can legally buy cannabis from any licensed recreational dispensary in Colorado. At Faragosi Farms, we can accept temporary paper IDs providing that both the expired license and the temporary ID are with you. If your ID has been lost, we may accept a pristine temporary ID with another form of ID. If you are visiting Faragosi Farms from another country, unfortunately, we cannot accept your driver’s license, but we can accept your passport. As soon as you’re in the fun part begins! We don’t have a waiting room here, so feel free to browse or ask any of our friendly budtenders for help.

Where can cannabis be consumed?

It is legal for adults 21+ to consume cannabis in their private residences. It is illegal to consume cannabis in public places, especially federal land. Violating public use laws can result in fines and other legal penalties. We do not suggest smoking in your car as that is also illegal and may result in a DUI. There are “420 friendly” hotels in Trinidad, just ask when booking as some charge a smoking fee. Some hotels also offer smoking patios.

I’m from out of state, can I purchase cannabis seeds and clones?

Unfortunately not. Only Colorado residents may purchase seeds/clones. Essentially, anything bought from a dispensary must be grown/consumed here in Colorado.

Can you travel with cannabis?

It is illegal to take any amount of cannabis across state lines and doing so may result in significant penalties. It is legal to drive with cannabis in your car in Colorado providing the items are out of arms reach and remain in its original sealed child-resistant packaging.

Is it legal to drive after consuming cannabis?

It is illegal to drive under the influence of cannabis and doing so may also result in serious legal ramifications. The legal limit is 5 ng/ml of THC in blood. In Colorado, there is the “reputable presumption” law which means you are presumed impaired if you have 5 ng/ml of THC in your blood, but it also allows you to rebut that presumption in court.
