The great ha’tuh seeds

The Great Ha’Tuh combines Cannatonic and Sour Tsunami with Aspen OG and Skunk-derived High-Country Diesel. A perfectly balanced hybrid of body and mind that allows the user to either relax or be productive. Flavors and aromas of citrus, skunk-diesel, earth, pine, and a creamy note are followed by a smooth smoke and a citrus, skunk-diesel aftertaste.

Review: The Great Ha’Tuh by PTS

My favorite part of writing reviews is when I get to introduce a new cannabis product, brand, or business to Illinoisans. The industry is expanding rapidly and new cannabis amenities appear regularly. But rarely do I get to review a relatively unheard of strain, especially for our “Thirty % Plus THC” series. So when NuMed Urbana’s menu listed The Great Ha’Tuh by Progressive Treatment Solutions, I had to review it.

The Great Ha’Tuh is a balanced hybrid that combines Cannatonic and Sour Tsunami with Aspen OG and Skunk-derived High Country Diesel (Jet Fuel). This one strain has a lineage that includes Diesel, Sour Diesel (from both parents), NYC Diesel, and East Coast Sour Diesel, as well as OG Kush from both parents. So to say The Great Ha’Tuh packs a pungent skunky diesel aroma is an understatement. The eighth contains one huge bud and a few smaller ones. Long bright orange pistils curl out of the light and dark leaves that are frosted with white trichomes.

The Great Ha’Tuh boasts 30.8% THC levels and is loaded with beta-caryophyllene, beta-myrcene, limonene, and linalool. So the aroma also blends mango, citrus, and pepper with an earthy note from the alpha-humulene. The flavor follows the aroma with a punch of diesel on the front end, followed by the citrus and pepper. But the exhale starts with an earthy diesel and ends with a pleasant citrus aftertaste that sticks with me for hours.

I have a preference for citrusy diesel strains and their medical effects, so The Great Ha’Tuh is hitting all the right notes. The potent high is cerebral from the diesel strains but the relaxing effects from Cannatonic and Sour Tsunami parents level out the hybrid. Though Cannatonic and Sour Tsunami were grown to increase CBD levels, The Great Ha’Tuh contains less than one percent of CBD. But that doesn’t take away from its amazing body buzz. Shortly after the psychedelic part of the head high kicks in, a surprisingly strong body relaxation quickly follows. And a potent cerebral head high and a relaxing body buzz are two characteristics I really enjoy in hybrids. Plus, the strain’s high levels of caryophyllene, myrcene, limonene, and linalool deliver great anti-inflammatory benefits for after working out and manual labor.

PTS has created a great new strain that all cannabis enthusiast (not just medical patients) should try. The terpenes profile is near to what I would choose if creating my own hybrid strain. The Great Ha’Tuh did not last long on the menu, and I haven’t found it since. But I hope it pops up on a menu near me during the next grow cycle, because I’m a new fan.
